Monogastric Animal Sales Account Manager, SE Region

Department: ANH - New Hampton
Location: Charlotte, NC

Execute the sales plan; increase profitable sales volumes in assigned territory by developing new prospects and converting them to commercial sales.


1.            Identify prospects for Monogastric product line, including feed companies, feed distributors, poultry, swine, pet food, and aquaculture feed manufacturers. Provide technical information and economic value model to convert to buying customers to our products. 

2.            Maintain customer base and maximize volumes with existing customers. 

3.            Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction and provide technical support as required. 

4.            Keep current with the industry: potential customers, competitive products, trends affecting sales and other business opportunities. 

5.            Support commercial studies including field trials as needed. 

6.            Develop sales forecasts to support efficient production planning and raw material purchasing. 

7.            Provide competitive intelligence. 

8.            Assist in the introduction of new products through trade shows, seminars, and direct calls. 

9.            Follows all safety policies and procedures including use of safety equipment (PPE) and equipment safeguards. 

10.         Perform other related functions necessary to ensure business growth. 


  • Bachelorís degree in Agriculture, prefer Animal Science or related. 2-3 years of successful sales experience within the feed industry
  • Effective communication skiils, both written and verbal is essential
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with customers is key  
  • Must spend significant time on the road meeting with customers to generate new sales
